What an amazing trip to Northern India. We, hubby and I, usually do our own thing. This was our first real tour in a group. There were 8 in the group. It was perfect. Our guides Baghi and Prahlad were amazing and very knowledgeable and ensured we had a great time. We learnt a lot about India, its history, people and culture. Hotels, transport and tours were 5 star. It was so much better than we expected. We will be doing the Southern India tour next time.

I have just returned from a 19 day train trip to Northern India. The trip was very well organised the guides were excellent very informative and helpful. I would highly recommend this trip to experience the real India the lovely people and their way of life.

Magnificent Rail's Vietnam trip was a wonderful experience. Our guide Giang was very professional and at the same time very caring of everyone. It really was a cultural and food trip. The food was amazing. I tried egg, banana, salted caramel, iced coconut and usual Vietnam coffee , they were all delicious. Highlights were the caves and waterways, Vietage train and the incredible performance Saigon Opera House. GM premium hotel in Hanoi deserves a mention too.

This was the most fantastic trip I have ever been on. The team at Magnificent Rail looked after us all so well and the days were full of great activities and sights. Having such a knowledgeable tour leader , means we learnt so much about the history of Vietnam. Loved the largest cave in the world, LanHa Bay, the Vietage train and the fabulous camaraderie within our very fun group. Once home we certainly weren’t forgotten. I would recommend Magnificent Rail to everyone and have booked our next trip in 3 months.

Our journey with Magnificent Rail to Northern India was absolutely wonderful. The itinerary introduced us to many and varied towns, countryside, people and experiences that we couldn't have done on our own. Learning to cook in an Indian home, being hosted for Diwali in Jaipur, desert camp, going through the volunteer kitchens at The Golden Temple of Amritsur. Our local guides were knowledgeable, accomodating and fun. Incredible India - I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

I recently returned from the Cambodia and Laos trip, and I must say that Mag rail team's pre-trip contact and well-planned itinerary made for a wonderful experience.The accommodation was good to great. The use of local guides provided valuable insights into the culture, lifestyle & amazing food. I shared lots of laughter and wonderful memories with new friend, looking forward to planning my next holiday with the team.

Had the ultimate fabulous tour of Vietnam, such an exciting trip, with wonderful highlights such as the Vietage luxury train and the exhilarating rickshaw ride through the streets of Hue . We were so well looked after, accommodation was excellent, and our Tour leader Giang was a real gem, knowledgeable, and fun. This tour was so much more than we could’ve imagined. Fantastic trip all round❤️

i had a great trip with Magnificent rail. the support team (Amie) was fantastic. she arranged everything so that the trip was hassle free; including a birthday cake for my daughter!! the trip was set a good pace with plenty of things to see and spare time. the small group works well. very interesting people; lots of laughs and lively discussion. i would definitely travel with Mag Rail again !!

I did my first Mag Rail trip to Cambodia and Laos. What a fabulous experience! Going on the bamboo train was so much fun. I loved walking with elephants. I learned so much about the history and culture of these countries; and the food (for a vegetarian) was really good. Meeting a bunch of similar minded people was also fun - potential buddies for future trips 🙂 Cambodia has such a sad history, but the people are lovely. Our guide Len was amazing! I was surprised by the beauty of Laos: mountains and waterfalls and a river trip. I'm getting ready to do another trip with MagRail asap. Look for me if you do a trip in future.
